won the first prize in the All India HR paper presentation at Manthan
'99, at TISS Mumbai. [Details] |

The World
Strategy Forum 1999 at Bombay
The World Strategy Forum was held at Nehru Centre,
Mumbai, from 14th to 17th October, 1999. IIM Indore won the Business
Standard sponsored Best Business School Award. The
award was based on the results of five different contests, i.e.,
research paper, presentation, placement brochure, student manager
and B-school stall.
Dipika Soni and Anil Nahata, Shivam
Sharma & Sriramprasad were the winners in the Student
Manager and Research Paper contests, respectively. The IIMI placement
brochure was also an award winner in the Best Placement Brochure
Contest. There were 274 business schools taking part in the prestigious
competition. Among them were IIM -Bangalore, XLRI- Jamshedpur,
IIFT, Delhi and Symbiosis, Pune. There were a host of eminent
speakers at the forum. The prominent among them were K.K. Nohria,
CMD Crompton Greaves, Ganesh Natarajan, CMD Aptech, Rajeev Bakshi,
CEO Cadbury (India) and many others.
