Courses Offered:
The institute offers the Post Graduate Programme in Management [PGP], which is a full time residential course for graduate students from all disciplines wanting to choose a career in management. Graduates of PGP will be awarded the "Post-Graduate Diploma in Management".

Eligibility:
Applicants should have atleast a three year bachelor's degree in any discipline obtained through the 10 + 2+ 3 system or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as eligible for post-graduate studies. Candidates appearing for the final bachelor's degree examination can also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to provisionally join the programme only if they submit a certificate latest by 21st June, 2000 from the Principal/ Registrar of their college/ institute that they have appeared for their examinations [including practicals] in all the subjects required for obtaining the bachelor's degree. Further, they would have to produce the mark sheet and a certificate of having passed the bachelor's degree by the registration date of the second term on 5th October, 2000. Non-fulfillment of these requirements will automatically result in cancellation of the provisional admission.

Admission Procedure:
Candidates seeking admission to the two year PGP of IIM Indore have to appear in the Common Admission Test [CAT] as described in the CAT bulletin. No additional fee needs to be paid for applying to IIM Indore.

Candidates shortlisted for group discussion and interview will be intimated by February 28th, 2000. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are not called for group discussion and interview. IIM Indore will conduct admission interviews in Bangalore, Calcutta, Indore and New Delhi only. However, IIM Indore reserves the right the right to change the centres.

Selection:
Selection to the PGP would be based on criteria such as the candidate's academic record, work experience, performance in CAT, group discussion, and interview. Twenty-two and a half percent seats are reserved for SC/ ST candidates meeting IIM Indore's admission requirements.

Expenses:
Yearly expenses on tuition, library, computer, accommodation, teaching material, and other fees would be about Rs. 90, 000/-. Personal expenses on travel, clothes, laundry, etc. will be extra. It would be the endeavour of IIM Indore that no student should be denied opportunity to pursue the PGP in management for want of financial resources. Those students who cannot finance their education at IIM Indore on their own would be provided assistance in raising loans from institutional financing agencies.
